A swan will mate for life. Black swans are native to Australia. A swan has over 25,000 feather on their body. A male swan is called a cob, a female swan is called a pen and a baby swan is called a cygnet. A group of wild swans if called a herd, in captivity a fleet. Swans can fly as fast as 60MPH.
